Update summary:
  The new version adds support for optional arguments, and for having
  several arguments. 
  
  e.g., one can put verbatim both in a section title, and in the short
  title for the toc:
  
  \cprotect\section[Some \verb+^&*+]{Longer \verb+$%^&*+}
  
  Nesting is also supported.
